Founder of Hebbs High Performance Hockey and a Nepean hockey lifer, Jared has been developing players in Ottawa for 33 years. His first two HHPH cohorts — 2009 and 2010 birth years — produced 23 OHL draft picks across the last two junior drafts, and roughly 50 drafted players counting the CCHL. On the ice it's fundamentals that transfer: skating and edge work, stickhandling, passing and puck protection, shooting and scoring — focused skills blocks paired with live scrimmage play. On the bench he coached three seasons in the Nepean Raiders competitive program, leading the U15 AA Raiders to the 2023–24 HEO championship with a 21–7–2 season, and now coaches U13 BB with the Nepean Girls Hockey Association. His 2023 development fundraiser with Heads Up Hockey raised over $5,000, with NHL alumni Fred Brathwaite and Brendan Bell on the ice.
